- Nasen is the President of the Singapore Nightlife Business Association (SNBA)
and is SRO’s Advisor for Nightlife Vibrancy & Policy. - Nasen’s first food and beverage (F&B) experience was in 1991 as a bartender. Fast
forward 30+ years, the F&B and nightlife industry veteran has spearheaded more
than 40 openings and his last full-time position was at the helm of Harry’s
International as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for eight years. - Nasen has also been part of the nightlife and dining scene in Melbourne and
Shanghai at the turn of the century. In 1999, he led the launch of the 20,000
square-foot nightclub SALT in Melbourne and subsequently consulted for other
F&B and nightlife businesses there. Six years later, he moved to Shanghai to
revamp the struggling international supper club concept Le Fabrique. Within
just over a year, he stabilized the business and assisted the shareholders in the
successful sale of the club. - The 50-year-old industry player is known for his sharp and concise strategies that
have revitalized declining businesses. In late 2016, he was appointed Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) of Harry’s International, Singapore’s iconic chain of bar
and dining establishments with 20 stores locally. Under his leadership, the group
won the distinguished Outstanding Brands Award 2016 in the Bar and Dining
Category by Influential Brands and Best Western Restaurant (Chain Dining) Star
Award 2021 by the Restaurant Association of Singapore. Harry’s was also
honoured with the Excellent Service Award 2022 and the RAS Epicurean Star
Awards 2023 for Best Gastro Bar (Runner-Up), as well as the acclaimed Asia’s Top
Influential Brands for Bar & Dining in 2019, 2022, and 2024, reinforcing its position
as a key market leader
